The Power Trencher ROV (PT) system is the first High Power WROV produced with direct driven asynchronous motors on each of the thrusters and pumps. The first one (PT-1) built 20 years ago, still in operation on the cable ship Isaac Newton. With the motor drives installed ‘topside’ this arrangement enable a redundancy supreme of all other ROV systems ever produced. PT-3, the cost efficient smaller system (1250Hp) protects your cable and complete both the survey and burial task of the project. Designed to carry TSS systems and all available sensors, the 250Hp ROV can disconnect from the Trenching array and freely maneuver the product for pre and post survey.
